Jim Beck Reports $1 Million in Funding Haul for Insurance Commissioner Campaign
February 7, 2018
Carrollton, GA – In a press release today Jim Beck announced that between money given by supporters across Georgia and his personal funds, he has over $1 million in cash for his bid to become Georgia’s next Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.
In talking about his fundraising efforts, Beck stated, “I have said from the time I announced my candidacy that I will be a commissioner who is accountable to the people of Georgia and not the special interests.
Team Beck’s fundraising efforts and personal money that Lucy and I are investing in this campaign include no money from insurance lobbyists.
Georgians deserve a commissioner who advocates for transparency, fights fraud, and regulates insurance on their behalf. That is what I will do as Georgia’s Day One Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.”
