This Friday Mayor Kasim Reed is among those expected to be in attendance as President Obama gathers with a bipartisan group to tout the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP.
Other notable attendees will include Gov. John Kasich (R), former Treasury secretary Henry Paulson, former Governor of New York Michael Bloomberg (I), Gov. John Bel Edwards (D), and Virginia Rometty, the chief executive of IBM, according to the New York Times.
"What we are trying to do is help 98 percent of American business that are small and medium sized companies," claimed Mayor Kasim Reed. ""But only about one to three percent of those are engaging in global trade. So we are trying to simplify the process."
